The Pastafarian Holidays

The Pastafarians, like the followers of any other religion, have numerous holidays that they simply call “celebrations” and in which they dedicate themselves to worship and homage the Flying Spaghetti Monster, also known as FSM, His Noodleyness, etc.

The Pastafarians have many and diverse celebrations, in which they dedicate themselves to worship the FSM and His Noodlesque Presence. The celebration of each one of these days requires many necessary rituals to properly carry out the homage. In this article, we will mention some of the most important rituals.

The Big Day

Friday is a holiday for the Pastafarians, their day for relaxing. Fridays are the most sacred days for Pastafarians among all their festivities.

This celebration takes place every Friday of each week and is dedicated to observing the ideals leading to the Beer Volcano and the Strippers Factory. The youths are the ones who most piously observe this day dressed as pirates, drinking beer and spending time with people of distracted morals, to reverence the Volcano and the Factory. The more adults spend the day in a more relaxed fashion, drinking beer with the family.

In general, Fridays are a day to relax and sunbathe, if possible. Each Friday must be dedicated to honoring an element of the periodic table.

International Talk Like A Pirate Day

Another very important holiday for the Pastafarians is the International Talk Like A Pirate Day, as it gives the Pastafarians the chance to honor their pirate roots every September 19. On this day, the Pastafarians can dress like pirates, if they wish. Speaking all day like a pirate is mandatory, having to greet people with phrases like “Ahoy, buccaneer!” instead of the traditional “Hello!” and other similar stuff.
